Matariki
At Matariki we celebrated Maori New Year. We read lots of stories about the seven stars of Matarki and found out how people celebrate the festival each year. We decorated star biscuits, made kites and wrote stories about Matariki too.
The kite making was a huge hit sign Eden! We love Matariki as a family and it's great to see celebrations and story telling at school.
