In Term 1, Room 2 looked at
koru patterns as part of our ‘Identity’ topic. The Koru symbolises new life, growth, strength and peace. We found the koru in nature and in art forms,
then used what we saw to design and paint our own koru art works. When we had
finished we talked about each other’s koru paintings.
