Book Week in Room 2
Week 9 was Book Week at Good Shepherd. We shared our love of reading and listening to stories. We had visits from authors and illustrators and we even had a book fair in the library. In Room 2 we read the story of The Princess and the Pea and made an illustration to go with our writing. Some of us want to be illustrators and writers when we grow up. On Friday we all dressed up as book characters and had the Book Parade. After morning tea we got into our house groups and had a 'book' treasure hunt.

The children all look wonderful in their costumes! Such a wide range of characters. Looked like a great book week, love The Princess and the Pea!
